Society of Vertebrate Paleontology - The Society of Vertebrate Paleontology was founded in 1940 for individuals with an interest in vertebrate paleontology. SVP (as it is known to its members) now has almost 2,000 members.
Vertebrate paleontology - Vertebrate paleontology seeks to discover the behavior, reproduction and appearance of extinct spined animals, through the study of their fossilized remains. It also tries to connect, on the evolutionary timeline, the animals of the past and their modern day relatives.
Tempo and Mode in Evolution - Tempo and Mode in Evolution is a 1944 book by the American paleontologist George Gaylord Simpson. Simpson was instrumental in the integration of paleontology into the modern evolutionary synthesis of Darwinian natural selection and genetics.
Paleogenetics - Paleogenetics is the application of genetics to paleontology. It has been applied to the study of parasite evolution.

Two major subdivisions of paleontology are paleozoology (animals) and rocks paleontology, specialties such as paleoecology, paleobotany, ichnology (the study of rocks and rock formations, and with botany, biology, zoology, and ecology, fields concerned with living creatures and how they interact. This includes the study of pollens, whether modern or geological. Paleontology Paleontology is the study of rocks and rock formations, and with botany, biology, zoology, and ecology, fields concerned with living creatures and how they interact. This includes the study of the developing history of life on earth, of ancient plants and animals based on the fossil record, evidence of their existence preserved in rockss. So paleontology overlaps with geology, the study of tracks and burrow... Paleozoologists may specialize in invertebrate paleontology, which deals with animals without backbones, or in vertebrate paleontology, dealing with fossils of animals with backbones. The fields of ecology, paleontology, systematics, evolution, biostatistics, plant physiology, plant anatomy, plant histology, biometry science biology zoology and lab techniques have been sufficiently covered but in a more general manner. The latest Latin international anatomical terminology Terminologia Anatomica or TA has been fully incorporated science biology ... understand the general principles that unite animal biology, (2) appreciate the diversity found in the animal kingdom science biology zoology and understand the evolutionary relationships that explain this diversity, (3) become familiar with the structure science biology zoology and function of vertebrate organ systems science biology zoology and appreciate some of the evolutionary changes that took place in the development of those organ systems, science biology zoology and (4) develop problem-solving skills. Biological Science - ... been mainstays of the Blue Version since the first edition was released in 1963. The eighth edition incorporates new perspectives biological science and understandings across major subdisciplines of biology such as genetics, cell biology, development, systematics, behavior, immunology biological science and evolution?the central organizing theme of biology. As with BSCS`s other biology programs, Blue Version provides an alternative to the presentation of vocabulary biological science and isolated facts by using inquiry to present biology as an experimental science. Blue Version ... appreciate the relationship of biology to personal biological science and societal issues.Blue Version begins with a focus on the content of biology at the level of organization of molecules. The threads of molecular biology biological science and the theory of evolution by natural selection tie together the chapters as the emphasis changes gradually from molecules to cells, individuals, populations, biological science and finally to the biosphere.
